Weddings/Special Occasions

Add a touch of elegance to your special day! I have performed at weddings and receptions since 2003, and offer an extensive repertoire of music including classical, Irish, popular, and movie/video game themes.

What To Expect

Once a couple has retained me, I meet with them in person for a free consultation to discuss their music needs and ideas, and to work out a specific list of pieces they want included in their ceremony or reception.

A rehearsal is optional, but recommended, as it gives me a chance to do a sound check in the space and time entrances.

On the wedding day, I arrive half an hour early to set up and do a second sound check. If you have requested a full solo ceremony, I will perform a half-hour prelude, the processional, a meditation or other special music, and the recessional.

If you have hired me to play your reception as well, I will require a break to rest and set up in the new location.

Rates

Rates are negotiable depending on the length of your ceremony/reception and how much music you require. In general, however, rates are $100/hour (with one hour minimum) and you will be billed on a pro-rated basis for additional time following the first hour. This rate is only for scheduled playing time; music consultation, one rehearsal, and set-up times are included free of charge.

Transportation

I am based in Seattle but am willing to travel! Any locations outside the city but within an hour's drive (including the east side) will cost an additional $10/hour transportation fee. For any events taking place more than an hour outside Seattle, please contact me for rates.
